Not enough gambling and hookers at the first event:
Second Tea Party Convention Planned for Vegas in July
By Kimberly Schwandt

Fresh off a convention just a few weeks ago, Tea Party organizers on Wednesday announced another national convention, and this time they're going to invade Las Vegas from July 15-17 with their message of lower taxes and smaller government.

"President Obama told Americans not to go to Las Vegas so that is exactly where Tea Party Nation will be holding our next event!" the group said in a statement.

If only it were that easy: "Would you jump off a cliff if the President told you not to?"

Another thing that makes this convention different is they are adding a "Tea Party Nation Conservative Film Festival."

Maybe they'll show Jason Apuzzo's "Kalifornistan."

He didn't tell people in general not to go to Vegas, he said IF someone is deep in debt and already in financial trouble they shouldn't go on a gambling binge. I guess spending several hundred dollars to listen to morons rail about fiscal responsibility and family values in a gambling mecca located in the only state in country which legal prostitution is OK, though.

only state in the country in which, damn it.

Las Vegas in July. Good idea. Perhaps the next one will be January in Anchorage.

Oh, Vegas in July is fine. It's not like there's any compelling reason to, you know, go OUTSIDE. They have stores, restaurants, casinos, shows and shuttles, all quite effectively air conditioned.

Now Phoenix, on the other hand...

Phoenix is a hellhole any time of year.

Oh Jebus the Tea baggers and Vegas were made for each other! This is the start of their decline until they choke on a cheeseburger in their special mooseum house.
