The Luddite Opposition

Some random Alaskan bonehead is complaining about EU health care:
Notice her credentials:

Dr [PhD not an M.D.] Carole Longson, Health Technology Evaluation Centre Director

Getting to know a pleasant-faced, EU Bureaucrat
[C]arole joined NICE ["NICE was established in the 1990's to ensure that the government-run National Health System used 'best practices' in medicine. It's become is a rationing board. Health care costs have exploded in Britain, as they have in the U.S. and most developed countries. So NICE reduces spending by limiting treatment"]in 2000 as Health Technology Evaluation Centre Director. [If the term "technology" disturbs you, it should. Do the words, " experimentation" or "inhumane" come to mind?]
Now I have no idea if Carole Longson is a baby-killing monster or not - these days you're at the supermarket and you get your stuff and you're in the line and it's taking forever and you're stuck between the old lady with the perfume and the teenager who's discovered Axe Body Spray and you're wondering why it's taking so long and you realize that the person at the front of the line is a BABY-KILLING MONSTER KILLING BABIES and the cashier isn't helping move things along AT ALL - but if the health care debate hinges on the opinions of people who are scared by the word "technology" then you can pretty much kiss that one goodbye.

Well, no. "Dialysis" and "medicine" did, among other things.

Speaking of baby-killing monsters, Captcha is "wombme." Thanks but no thanks.

What disturbs me is grammar like "It's become is a".

Thank you for not mentioning "Twin studies".

Oh Crikey. It's (become is) an easy mistake to make and would give one second thoughts if one thought it was a medical body. and not an Earthmoving equipment company

Capcha, I can't talk about my cationds right now.
