A while ago there was an enormous dust-up in which it was rumored that Perry was caught red-handed, so to speak, with a male. His wife, they said, threatened to leave him and not too long after that the governor's mansion burned and Perry and his wife took a very expensive rental.
There is no proof of anything but it isn't just vague rumors, it's concrete rumors.
