Maybe There Won't Be a Tragedy

Mr. Protasiuk was the pilot of the plane that assassinated the Polish government:
“It’s going to be dreadful, we won’t be able to see anything,” a crew member said at one point.

Mr. Protasiuk was more hopeful. “Well, no, you can see the ground,” he said, six minutes later. “You can see something. Maybe there won’t be a tragedy.”

Wouldn't it be nice if you could believe one of the Supremes said the same thing when they installed Bush as Pretzeldent?

Also: I have much more confidence when the pilot is called "Cap't." rather than "Mr."
