Since the super fabulous arms industry welfare has been withdrawn, Poland is now exposed as this, frankly, paranoid person with the knock-off Armani shirt he bought in Poland, whose umbrella is maiising a couple of sections. That's what you get for shopping as garage sales.
Obama is a pie, see, and he promised Poland 2 pieces. And he marked those pieces for Poland 'cause he gave all the other pieces to Russia and Iran and Pakistan and China. But that was OK, 'cause there were those two pieces for Poland.
So Poland jumps in, see, to eat their two slices of delicious Obama pie and just as they get airborne, pie-bound, Obama snatches back those 2 pieces of Poland's pie and gives THEM to Russia TOO.
Poland is deeply disconcerted to find itself with NO Obama pie, and the cartoon reflects that discomfiture...
Right beside the centre bit is a blob that could be the bit wiv the 'ole in it that the umbrella goes in. Or not. I assume Poland did not buy the umbrella but sort of found it on the backsteps one morning with a crayola written note saying "Plees gived this a hoam."- Ronald Raygun
Yes, it looks to me like there's supposed to be someone holding the umbrella. For what it's worth, the cartoon is titled "Poland left exposed by Barack Obama."
Mr Poland has eaten over 1/4 of the smelly French cheese. Surely you can cajole an opinion piece from Mr Prelutsky. Come on Burt!
It was lucky I was travelling around Europe when it was still a continent of freeloading parasites, only able to afford decent health systems & social-welfare nets & life-styles because they make the US pay for all the peace-keeping work around the world rather than pay for their own share. It's going to be a lot less fun now it's always been a helpless victim continent whose occupants are at the mercy of the Russian military behemoth.
Or do I mean "Russian military juggernaut?" Please advise as to correct usage.
Mr 'Confused' Poland might be trying to have a pee, and has been interrupted by the cartoonist who is trying to make a joke about umbrellas. From a helicopter

Spelling part of brain not work properly, only one coffee today, fellydam!!!
Hmm, I hadn't actually thought of an umbrella. Do we assume that Poland bought that umbrella?
I kinda thought about a big tent...
C'mon, man. This is not only simple, it's obvious

Who cuts a pie into seven pieces?

See I thought that looked kinda like a bag of trash and Poland got caught dumpster diving. In a misshapen tent. By someone flying a helicopter.

Obama's missile umbrella has left the state out in the rain, and the cartoonist is worried we will be unable to obtain the recipe again.
It's a big enough umbrella, but it's always Poland that ends up getting wet.
If Obama eats Poland, all the ghosts will turn blue and edible, then they become pairs of eyes that fly back to the center of the maze.
Duh.
Also, if Poland gets to have a net made of magic held up by pixies, it should really cover Berlin too.
Ah so it's a swipe at papparazzi who use the cover of the Obama administation to loot the trash bins of the world while pretending to be Owen Poland
as coined by tigrismus:
MetaPHAIL.

If the people who are in the cartoons don't understand them then what hope do the rest of us have
Who cuts a pie into seven pieces?
A jedi.
The important thing is to MAKE THE PIE BIGGER.
Higher!
Pac-Obama ate Mr. Wattuski's left arm

The unjust man hath only stolen 2/7 of the just man's umbrella, because he's not very good at it.
That is the worst umbrella illustration I have ever seen.
Frankly , I think that the great days of umbrella illustration have passed us by.
Y'know, Mr. Polandski has a right to be worried, what with the volume of missiles raining down all over the world.
I am not looking forward to the inevitable re-make of Catherine Deneuve's breakthrough movie as "The 5/7ths of an Umbrella of Cherbourg".
Woulda been a better movie in 5/7 anyway.

veiled prog-rock reference.
Completely unveiled! Yes would have done a better soundtrack, provided they were not allowed access to the lyrics.
