Indiana State Police say [Gabriela] Cedillo was driving her own car during the filming of a [Transformers 3] stunt. She was among many other drivers in the scene. A metal object hit Cedillo's car, then flew through her windshield, hitting her in the head.Gabriela Cedillo was an extra working for minimum wage, away from her day job as a bank teller.
Cedillo's 2006 Toyota then sped away, hitting an inner median concrete barrier wall. The 24-year-old's car traveled for about a mile, before stopping. The vehicle had extensive damage to the driver's side.

Why the hell wasn't a trained professional handling this stunt? Here we have this young woman, driving her own car, in a potentially (now actually) dangerous situation without any saftey training or equipment... WTF?
I can't even bring the snark to this one.
They were throwing large chunks of metal at unaltered cars?
Robot wrangler FAIL.
My theory is that they surreptitiously overrode her GPS in order to get her to that spot on the freeway where they could fling pieces of metal at her.
What? They ARE robots, are they not?
The whole episode wreaks of Glenn Reynolds Robotulism.
