Jimmy Carter, of course!

Few can forget that the egregious Carter Taxation Scheme caused America's greatest auto race to become the Indianapolis 297.5.

Um, excuse me. Yeah, over here. I have a question.

Wouldn't you actually have to have DONE something in order to qualify as a really bad president?

I mean, bush started wars, authorized war crimes, spied on his citizens and redirected trillions of dollars American taxpayer money into the coffers of the wealthiest one percent.

Obama gave people a few thousand dollars to buy a car...

9 out of 10 Capchas agree, you need pro experience to tell prolize...

How long does a frozen head stay revivable?

Props to qwfwq for upping the ante in the comments.

He's obviously a reader.

Speaking of frozen heads brings me to two-headed eagles which we weren't speaking of.
Further developments in the Jailhouse Mock story... the American Police Force is now the American Private Police Force, and they have updated their emblem (perhaps to placate the lawyers, because you never go in against a Serbian when death is on the line).

Teh new improved emblem is now the Russian arms, except flipped left-to-right, and with the orb in one claw clumsily photoshopped out.

How can this possibly get better?

Curiouser & curiouser. I don't get the A"P"PF at all, unless it's some sort of Putin/KGB deal.

I'm Malignant Bouffant, & I boophed this message,

Or I'm a big ol' boophed.

It really is a great story. Lotta suspense. How long can the scam play out?

J— said...

God smiles on the American Police Force, or the American Private Police Force, or at least the story it has been chosen to take part in.

I am concerned by the lack of response to the Russian invasion from Rugged-in-Montana.

Substance McGravitas said...

A very good point.

Perhaps he's found employment.

To recap the A(P)PF story... their press officer has had a big sad and reckons that she would never had boarded the ship, had she known that it was sinking...
Their attorney, faced with the prospect of actually doing some work rather than simply collecting a retainer, has severed all connections...
Some obsessive type at TPM has gone through their patchwork quilt of a website, working out the other websites that were the sources of each plagiarised patch (revealing in the process the level of amateurism that reigns at supposedly reputable private-security / mercenary companies)...

And the town council still won't repudiate the deal.

It's like "When Prophecy Fails", but with privatised law-and-order rather than UFOs as the source of the eagerly-awaited goodness.

Substance McGravitas said...

According to the AP the town is bailing.

Noooooo!!!!

Weiners, Stay The Course, Hardin!!

Had your harmiflu shot yet?

Officials in Hardin, a small city of 4,500 just outside the Crow Indian Reservation, had tried in vain for two years to fill the 464-bed jail.

...man, it's not easy being an official, what with the lack of criminals, and all (maybe weekend packages would do it)
