Come ON!

Some prize committee guys are jerks:
Only three years after it was set up the Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership — the brain child of Mo Ibrahim, the Sudanese-born mobile phone tycoon — has apparently run out of suitable candidates.
AHEM SIRS!

The problem for the organisers is that the $5million (£3million) prize plus $200,000 salary for the rest of the recipient’s life is restricted to former presidents and heads of state who have stood down from office in the previous three years.

Kind of rules out Obama, no?

INVISIBUL ICE CREEM

You can't tell if it's an invisible ice cream or a lollipop, Herr Doktor.
If these want somebody to give money to, I'm their man. Yes I do not meet any of the criteria but I would hate those chaps to feel sad.

Good afternoon. I'd like to thank you all for coming.

The reason I've called this press conference is to make a somewhat startling announcement.

After sixteen years of leading numerous African nations, I have made the difficult decision to step down, effective June 1st, 2008. Yes, I know that date is in the past, Microsoft outlook functions quite well in Swahili, but the only real consequence of this admittedly somewhat unusual retroactive approach to spending more time with my wives and family is that most of my experimentation with nerve gas turns out never to have happened after all.

Thank you again for coming, and I'll certainly be available to answer questions after I am awarded the mone...er, the prize...

Oh. And I am not the drude you're looking for

I'm about to post a couple more insect and archachnoid pics, so I deserve this award more than anyone.

After years of "Kenya do this" and "Kenya do that" I deserve some sweet sweet prizes. Small bills please.

538 will be sad to see that Capcha is calling for nonates.

Anyways, 4th Dragon King - abdicated in 2006, so this is the last year he's eligible. Opened Bhutan up to the outside world and implemented reforms leading up to democratic elections. Developed Gross National Happiness. Has a smoking hawt daughter and like all Dragon Kings - the ability to focus universal dragon energies into a powerful beam of cleansing fire.

"A PRINCESS WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONSTITUTION".
Now there's a bold assertion. The properties of her constitution should be tested. Allow me to offer myself.

Herr Doktor Thynne: Quick Moriarty, assess her constitution before doing a moonlight.
