A Great Picture

Viscount Monckton delivers the usual crazy lecture, fortunately looking not at all like a bug-eyed loon. Props to Gerry Kahrmann, Photographer of the Day. The article is not at all kind. Check out the comments.

Tell that crap to the tropical fossils in the Arctic rocks. Stop telling my kids they are going to die if we don’t save the planet for them.

In the end your “science” will give way to the public will.

Triumph of The Will!!

I will assume that the viscount also denies that having something wrong w/ one's thyroid gland makes one's eyes buggy like a fucking lizard's.

Oh, look, I typed "deny." Said usage being a "thoughtless trivialization."

Your use of the term "denier" in this case is a thoughtless trivialization of the Holocaust. The power of the word derives from its association with "Holocaust Deniers" and now your publication is cheapening the term and the memory of the victims with cheap histrionics. Perhaps your writers should receive sensitivity training. I'm appalled.

So stupid it may be a joke.

Okay, now I know why Al Gore doesn't want to debate this man. That background would give him a huge headache.

Hey! I thought it was us science types who were doing the conspiracy. Not withstanding that herding cats would be easier and more rewarding, but now it seems we too are dupes. Well, fuck!
Will Mubarak Hussein X O'BammaI be proclaimed king now he is officially The Prince of Peace and we have to do what he says? Thus the world gubbermint will be in place !!!one??/

The Right Wing has created this kind of 'alternative scientist' qualification for people like Monckton, who decide one day that they like the idea of calling themself a Scientist, but do not like the hard work normally involved in scientistry. After all he did classics at Cambridge and has a subscription to New Scientist, so he already knows more physics than those people with their PhDs and their supercomputer simulations.
