There are strange things found in Washington towns
By the men who fish for moose;
The forest trails have their secret tales
That would make your bowels turn loose;
In Newman's Lake the fishers partake
Of the bounty of net and harpoon
But the greatest catch was a frosty batch
Of ice-moose caught under the moon
