This isn't a great song (like this one) but something really fascinates me about that stabby little organ through the verses. Did she hire a praying mantis or something?
I thought the same as you at first, but organs and plucky guitars are surprisingly similar in their attack tone, but the rotating speakery sound and the evenness of the volume are the most obvious tip-offs.
That and the stabby sound vanishing whenever organ chords sustain.

is that stabby thing an organ or a guitar? Sounds like real simple rhythm guitar to me.

Yeah, that is funny. And I immediately pictured a little praying mantis banging away at a keyboard.
And every time I see the name "Skeeter" I giggle. It doesn't seem like it should be a woman's name or nickname.
