Live Riot Footage

Catch it while it lasts.

Or here, sez Bouffant.

This'll probably have news if you missed it. It is awfully kind of rioters to do their thing around the CBC building.

There's a Facebook turn-in-the-rioters page. Some of the pictures are excellent, and comments are fun. The internet is a remarkable thing, and Facebook is just idiotic if you're, you know, a guy who likes to burn things. Are there any profile deletions this morning?

Er,fuck, well, that makes no sense. Couldn't Mark Steyn be hired to go down there and bore them into submission?

There's making sense and there's meeting expectations.

Steyn is what we call a snowbird and hardly counts as an honest Canadian suffering through the miserable winters the rest of us endure. Except us sissies on the west coast.

Some choice quotes in the comments.

This one made me laugh the hardest:

This is a disgrace! You would never see such a thing happen in US cities after a sports event. What is wrong with us?

There's actually a kernel of truth to that. I don't remember Americans ever rioting because their team LOST. Here, rioting is a form of celebration, not atonement.

You have to understand the way it works - you have to EARN the right to riot.

I think you earn it by drinking way too much.

When will they learn? Keep the violence on the ice.

It seems Americans are bad losers too, like the rest of the world.

The funniest is the riots over the US Tennis team.

This is just further evidence of the innate savagery of whites. Mark Steyn will be on that any minute now.

Apparently it does not count as a riot if it's just me.
"Tazes", says W/V, in an attempt to taunt me about last night's activities.
