Yale Law SUCKS!

Long ago we noticed that Yale would confirm that it had issued any diploma that looked nice enough. I was and continue to be pissed that I did not know that in time to take advantage of it. Some follow-up:
A federal judge in Connecticut has rejected a second bid by Yale University to throw out all the allegations in a lawsuit filed by a South Korean university that claims it lost tens of millions of dollars after Yale damaged its reputation.

Dongguk University claims in the 2008 lawsuit that it hired an art history professor after Yale wrongly confirmed the professor earned a doctorate at the New Haven school. Court papers say the professor, Shin Jeong-ah, later had a scandalous love affair with an aide to South Korea’s president.
ALSO:

TinyPic doesn't like granny anymore. Gotta fix that. What use is a photo-hosting site that just erases your stuff? I've lately been using Google Sites for GIF hosting, as a Google account gets 10GB of storage, but it's kind of a pain in the butt to track down your GIF's URL.

ALSO ALSO:

Let's turn off the verification for a bit and see how it works out.

While not going to get drawn into any discussion of Old ELItist, I am very happy to see no need to prove I'm not a robot.

Let's hope it ends well.

We shall see. My spammers have been rare enough previously, but waking up to a deluge of stuff to delete wouldn't be fun.

I've had no problems with no-moderation over the last 2 or 3 weeks posts, and everything else needs moderated (those always turn out to be spam anyways, mostly I don't even bother to check).

My [strike]focused and exclusive[/strike] ignored and unread blogs have had no spam problems over on FYWP, doubtless because of my comical lack of traffic. Up here in the big leagues (hee hee) you may be more at risk.

I've failed enough of those distorted double word thangs to really not like them.

Hopefully this will go better than that philandering art history guy and the Korean aid. I just can't imagine. Reputations bruise so easily.

If robots learn to read, there's going to be a neck-n-neck race to see which mind can sort the bull from the bullshit and I'm not sure who'll win. One day, we might find that all our cyberbuddies are robots, and then----

gasp we find out that we are robots and then---

Yippie!!! We're robots!

Rent My Very Large Penis!!

I know.

But I figure if there's such an overwhelming blight of little bitty peckers than shirley there must be a market for hourly access to one of above average length and girth.

Heh heh. Girth...

I don't think I would rent one of those.

wiley said...

I dunno. Can you junk-punch the rental cock?

fish said...

They have a form that keeps track of damage prior to rental.

Mendacious D said...

What about during the rental? That would seem more relevant.

Substance McGravitas said...

I think they offer extra insurance with rentals, so if you buy that you can probably do all the junk-punching you like.

W/ verification, for whatever reason, all the human(?) spam at my dump seems to be over two wks. old, & easy enough to mark as spam.

And even before the conversion to double wordage the preview box had stopped recognizing my always accurate typing & wouldn't allow me to publish from it; verif. won't be missed.
