Text Editor for Windows Bleg

What's the best free text editor for Windows for geek purposes? I've used Xint for a while. I like feature bloat.

UPDATE!

Some software just has more ponies.

My favorite text editor for windows (assuming you have Cygwin installed, and if you don't, why don't you) is vi.

you dont even need cygwin (though that is i suppose helpful if you actually know what youre doing, i personally think it's the worst of both the windows and *nix worlds, but whatever).

Vim has a windows installer. you will need to know vi, but once you get past the initial steep portion of the learning curve its powerful awesome.

unless youre more of an emacs person. in which case i would suggest you DIE, HEATHEN.

Thanks folks. I don't really do enough geeky stuff to want a learning curve for the few times that I use it...but I do need something capable of powerful text operations across multiple files when duty - or the JanusNode - calls. So on my Macs I use TextWrangler which does a bunch of wonderful things but behaves in an easy-on-the-eyes-and-brains manner. What's the Windows equivalent?

Yeah, I like TextWrangler a lot.

1. Stop doing things that require Windows.

2. Format your hard drive.

3. Install a decent operating system.

Work stuff. I'd certainly get fired for doing what I want to do to these machines.

Listen, if you want to have sex with them, we won't tell.

I dunno.

I like gedit.

But then, 1.) I like Gnome and 2.) I don't do anything terribly heavy duty.

I like to be able to pull all the formatting out of a piece of text and start clean, but other than that, meh....
