Promises

Why hasn't this man been beaten with a tire-iron?
The prostitute at the centre of Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi's sex scandal claims she slept with him believing he would help her set up a countryside inn but she got "nothing" in return.

Ok, nothing sucks, I get that. "Nothing" is what you get for screwing a rich, arrogant thug with all the power and none of the compassion or accountability. Nothing is a shitty deal in exchange for a ride home from the movies - in exchange for swapping goo with that nastyass old fart it's practically a crime against humanity.

But c'mon, babe. A country INN? Really? Not a few hundred bucks, a decent meal, a designer dress, a nice watch, a used car even, but a country Inn? My guess is that he never did take your "price quote" seriously, because it was ridiculous on it's face...

Sounds like she was already along in the process of opening the inn, was having licensing/permitting issues and wanted him to grease the wheels, as it were. I love the "[t]he conservative leader has said he has never paid for sex" bit; dude, it sounds like nobody's denying that you never paid for it...
