That's HITLER, not to be confused with Hitler.

Do you know who was next in the series?

Nope, first I've heard of it and my Google-fu is weak this morning.

I'm sure it's tasteful.

Actually, I'm thinking this might be the last, best hope of teaching americans about their own history, not to mention the history of the rest of the world that isn't the one and only bestest nation in the history of history.

If they could get actual information out of a comic book, they would end up knowing stuff without even knowing they knew stuff. Which would be almost as great as ignorance and "faith".

Cactus juice will do that, or so I am led to believe.

"shocking pages of actual history"...should be lifted and pre and post-ceded by enough verbal marmalade as to render the Bulwer-Lytton contest moot

perhaps you can combine it with "rictus of appalled bafflement" to make some double haiku fizz

Thanks!

I cannot imagine the drugstores I frequented in my comic-buying youth being at all willing to stock that.

interesting that one had to go to DRUG stores to get comic books.

Smut Clyde said...

Sometimes the way stores are labelled in the US makes it very difficult to buy what one wants, and cultural-conflict hilarity ensues.

It's like when I was in London a few months ago, and all the sports bars had signs outside offering "Large Plasmas Inside". SO I go in and order a large plasma, and suddenly the bar staff are all "We don't serve your sort round here".

Interestingly, the RSS feed compresses those comments so you don't know what's going on unless you actually click. Wait, that's not actually very interesting.

Substance McGravitas said...

I use Firefox's RSS display usually, and the whole game is as irritating that way as it is here. So, um, BORINGER.
