Lawsuit Not Work Right

I had no idea there were Officer Bubbles cartoons before this.

Bonus! A court filing below. In it we learn that YouTube commenters call

OFFICER

BUBBLES

an

ASSHOLE.

More stuff I did not know!

Ok, looks like I need to add CBC to my RSS feed. I'm missing too much good stuff...

"The reason we brought the lawsuit is that people have the right to protect themselves against this kind of harassment."

As opposed to, you know, arresting someone for blowing bubbles.

At least in Canada it's a real cop. Unlike, say, a Military Officer, who just rapes and kills.

In the US, it's the private bodyguards of a candidate running for elected office on the sanctity of the constitution who has journalists arrested for the crime of, um, asking questions...

I agree that the best way to "get Teh Intertrons to stop making fun of your overcompensating for your tiny PENIS and being an authoritarian jackass bent on intimidating others into submission" is to file suit.

Either that or to get some effete d00d wearing too much eyeliner to make webcam YouTuberies enjoining us all to LEAVE BUBBLES ALONE.

Hey, on the topic of Col. Russell Williams, AKA "The Man Who Killed For Panties", I'm informed he once was the pilot for Queen Elizabeth.

So, y'know, I'm just kinda wondering. Do you suppose he mighta someway got his mitts on a pair of her bloomers?

'Cause I bet the'd fetch a pretty price on eBay, is all I'm saying. That's all. Not that I want to put pictures of myself wearing her royal highness's unmentionables on the intert00bz or nothing, nah, that'd be crass.

Wouldn't it?

He did a guilty plea today. Who would have thought that an officer in the Killing People section of the government would be a criminal?

Imagine how meteoric his rise to the top would have been if they'd only been willing to pay him in panties!

The Officer Bubbles filing includes juicy YouTube comments. See above.

I found the last line in the CBC article troubling: "The cartoons no longer appear on the site."

Bad enough if the creator decided to take them down of his or her own accord (e.g., due to worries about lawsuits), but I really hope YouTube did not make that call.

Wow. It gets worse. According to the Toronto Star, Officer Bubbles is also suing people who left comments on YouTube. Comments!
