I'm big on Name of the Game and Knowing Me, Knowing You. That latter is an evil knife twist.
But seriously, a better version of So Long than ABBA's is entirely possible and need only be a little heavier.
I understand that Motorhead do a cover version on their next album.
Funny that: I have in fact compared Lemmy's pop sense to ABBA in the past...
If Gavin and Gwen ever were to decide to do an album of covers, that would be a pretty good place to start...
Okay, two covers, both heavier. One by Gabba and another by Abbatoir.
Well, those are terrible but they have somehow convinced me that I am correct.
The only bands that could do justice to ABBA profoundly moving legacy would be Norwegian balck metal ones. Venom or Scum would be perfect.
While I am highly enamored of Rancid, I am pathologically unwilling to be a fan of a band called "Scum".
I mean, you can see the difference, right?
Well, I am guessing here but rancidity is rotten through an actual physical process. The bacteria want to be doing what they do.
Scum just floats around being yucky, mostly by accident.
I rate for Lemmy.
Astoundingly, Abba's videos are worse than their music.
