The concise Glenn Greenwald!

Of course, and it's an accurate complaint.

But I'd still rather go there and read something worth reading about, as opposed to the well-written plutocrat-fellatio available in so many places. (Take Michael Kinsley, please.)

I've got not complaint with that one of Greenwald's for sure.

LGM is on the Kinsley. It's been a long time since I have seen words of Kinsley's in print first-hand, and I think I will stick with that.

For your trip to Philly I have the following suggestions.

Recommend Reading Terminal Market. DiNic's Roast Prok sammich. Campo's deli for stakes (214 Market St.).

Many thanks!

Don't forget fish's suggestion. I worship true Italian sandwiches and have come to believe that the best are around Philly.

wiley,

That is pretty cool. It feels like the painting should always do that.

I do a pretty decent job of of visiting the websites on the blogroll...not that the people without the comments find out...but yeah, cool video.

Quartz Composer, which is the thing I use to make horrible GIFs of pope-heads exploding, makes all the Mac screensavers and runs a few different kinds of code apart from the easy shit I do, so in theory, if I didn't suck, that kind of interactivity is within reach. I don't know if you've seen how slick iPads are, but the ability to touch and interact with pretty graphics is quite striking.

The Lovely Daughter has been the recent beneficiary of some iPad generosity, so I guess I should figure some of that out.

And a woman from Afghanistan might reply:
