The Cocteau Twins Game

Long ago I listened to The Cocteau Twins - they were good: weird guitars, fine voice, lotsa slow triplet rhythms. Liz Frazer went glossolalia for quite a while there, so now the internet provides some added fun.

An interpretation of the lyrics:
Gotta, gotta, gotta gain his voice
On pepper tree
Harden, harden, harden don'ts and won'ts
My easel she

You gotta, gotta, gotta gain his voice
On purple scotch
Most amusing. Still not quite as senseless as Yes though.

so it's kind of a Cocteau Twins study?

I luvs the Cocteaus. I dug out the vinyl copy of their "Treasure" album and listened to it last night. An album of a time and a place, alright.

The Sunburst and Snowblind and Spangle Maker EPs were the peak IMO...

The Cocteau Twins Game would probably be kinda like Myst.
