Dick Cheney: Unassuming Defender of the Helpless

What the shit?
Cheney's "media offensive" consists of a speech and a couple of interviews. The thrust of his offensive has been to caution against the weakening of America's defenses and to respond to the current administration's nearly daily disparagements of the Bush administration's conduct of the war on terror.
Well, seeing that such a nice young man wrote that I... Hey... Wait a minute...

My apologies for the distinct lack of twiddling, but given that it took a year or two for caterpillar eyebrows I feel like I've put it all out there for tonight. Now I must forage for someone else's plums.

I eagerly anticipate the roll-out of caterpillar moustaches 2.1 in 2010.

You once mentioned the idea of Mephistophelean biomechanical tail -- & horns, I suppose -- but that would necessitate teh Mephisto Waltz playing in the background. Or excerpts from Orpheus in the Underground.

Nice work.

I was really thinking of this guy. Mr. Kirsanow's head is round in about the same way as The Scorpion's, although I hope is tail is attached in a more plausible manner.

Yeah, that does seem to be a problem.

All the time that I've spent with my casually dressed monkey butler allows me to conclude that tails do not grow out of shoulder blades, but rather much lower. Much.

Besides, with the photorealism of the hat and monocle, to say nothing of the lifelike mustache, you'll not be able to get away with a cartoony biomechanical tail.

Perhaps, in keeping with the era suggested by the hat and monocle, a steampunk tail, complete with brass fittings, valves and pressure gauges would be far more effective.

Oh look! Captcha's offering investment advice: holdsw...

Should've blackened the suit. I was also thinking of having the top of his head pop for Cheney to peek out...

Huh? What'd I do? Is someone using my name? (Can't remember what I've spewed & where I've spewed it any more.)

Put me down for huge, black, leathery bat-wings. They grow from the shoulder blades.

Something like this?

Yeah. That looks like Flash though, and I don't have a copy of that at the moment.

I haven't poked around for an open-source substitute though...

Terry Gilliam never needed no steenkin' Flash!

I may still have a copy of Gilliam's Animations of Mortality around. His counsel to use really big coats or wheels to avoid animating walking legs is, I think, a command to me personally to be lazier.

This explains a great deal.

The pic's over a megabyte or something. You still dial-uppy?

Last I heard, my man Bouffant lived in a netherworld of library access and the judgmental (emphasis on mental) oversight of his librarian overlords, who, if it were not for his charm and charisma, would have him arrested and repeatedly beaten and raped by the fine upstanding heavily armed officers of the Los Angeles Police Force, In Guns We Trust™.

These are not the blogs you are looking for...

My friend Fitz also likes Animations of Mortality.

Further investigation reviews that the lazy plonker has finally got around to scanning in his modest proposal for new currency.
Also.

I was thinking of stealing Mr. Peanut's outfit, but he's a classy guy, so I had to make my own. The wingnut joke's obvious and good, but still too cuddly.

Well, if we're sharing pictures...
