'Creak, Creak' . . . of course this is a mechanical frog that hasn't been oiled for a while

You're some sort of god or something.

Goodness gracious, I am blushing. . .

Where have you been lately? I have been looking for your postings on the 'Other' blogs and nothing. Vacation?

That Scott Thomas Beauchamp dust up has been fun to watch, but I think I am still confused; the Right-ies make my head hurt.

Busy times. Mostly hanging around at Sadly, No! and nothing more.

Regarding SBT I dunno what the deal is either: is it possible that he will destroy the ENTIRE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX?!?!?!?! Or just, you know, be another article-writer?

Yes, SN is one of my first port o' calls.

Part of their shit-fit was because if he did have credibility it would have made them look quite dumb. It's all a left over, half eaten pile of soggy chips now anyway, but was fun to watch.

You have been doing this much longer than I have: Do you think the Bush-bots all have a mass mental disorder kinda like the Salem Witch trials (instigated by LSD-like mold on their wet rye stores) or is it the 'I want to be safe and need daddy' complex or a bit of both? I think perhaps none of them have aged emotionally beyond the age of, say, five. The NRO gang are particularly infantile; can they actually be faking it you think? Some of the shit they write is so plainly weird (like that VDH dumbass) that they almost have to be making that shit up just for effect and can't really believe it. Or do the 25% actually have an education and can type on a keyboard?

Hey can we come up with a classification of the various right wing nutcases, something along the lines of 'greater Wingers' versus 'lesser Wingers' a la D and D? Might be funny any way and keep me from going mad. . .

Yes I think the NRO gang are faking it. They're wedded to a power-structure and they need to defend it to keep getting paid. They still believe nutty things, but somehow they think Bush-era nuttiness in not a manifestation of those nutty things.

As far as the average joe that supports Bush, they're mostly ignorant except for the smaller proportion that are nuts. America's a great place to avoid contrary ideas or to be actively insane. The internet sampling you get of Americans is unbelievably distorted or Libertarians would, you know, have influence.

I can't imagine the effort it would take to categorize the various one-issue maniacs that think Republicans really and truly fly their flag.

Incidentally, mechanical chickens go click click.
