We should make a concept album.
Ideas/lyrics/music welcomed. I am not kidding (although I imagine some high-level project-fascist position for me in the enterprise).
From Thundra, unchopped:
Maybe I should steal some Grateful Dead and Austrian Death Machine and add the birds.

Who is this "we" of whom you speak?
wv: spermo
OK, there's one idea.
I could send you some bird songs.
~
Welcome to the project, we.
I accept the bird songs offer, but we need a concept. WE.
This is weird because I just wishing I knew how to play the drums today. (I was even daydreaming about twirling the drumstick in air and stuff. God, I'm dorky.)
Concept...concept...think, VS, THINK.
A quest across space and time searching for the lost crystals of Mythrra which will restore the universe to it's pathway of universal love and understanding.
Of course this will mean wiping out humankind but we don't know that yet.
I'm your man for the wacky sidekick role. "Space, space it's a very big place"
We should make a concept album.
Yes! With an overture and a coda and songs titled "Substance's Theme" and "Thunder's Theme" and things like that. The concept itself, I have no idea.
"I'm your man for the wacky sidekick role"
Dibs on the tambourine.
Themes for users would be funny. Or insulting depending on the execution...
Cladistics.
to project a fascist, a trebuchet will suffice
Note Audacity over there in the sidebar. And VS should check out how drums work in Garage Band.
Concept album about the vast superiority of one particular operating system / graphic interface over all others.

AK is the love child of Robert Plant, Neil Pert, and LSD.
Big Hollywood meets Roy.
Janus node music.

That's not a concept, old chum that's an entire religion! You stand to make millions off of your glassy-eyed followers.
How about David Brooks: The Musical?
I went to see real America,
At the Applebee's salad bar.
I tried to be real America,
And ended up a media star!
Needs more theremin.
"The Re: Men," an all shorters album played entirely on the onde martinot*. The shorters become self-aware of all internet traditions.
*Captcha suggests the torboasp, but unfortunately it has not yet been invented.
Thunder has supplied a bunch of nifty bird samples. I'm going to play with those for their own sake...maybe I'll put them up here, and try to force people to fuck with them in Audacity or Garage Band or what have you.
Bouffant [strangled, horrified voice]: Work?
Could the concept be clothing?
(I think Sun Ra covered the whole space thing already.)
an all shorters album
Does this involve dwarves dancing around a replica Stonehenge?
I pretty much will have no part of this if it doesn't.
Stonehenge! Where the demons dwell
Where the banshees live and they do live well
Stonehenge, we can use it as a fort
Because it sank and we're short.
Stonehenge where the days are short and the nights are long
Stonehenge wash your socks and you won't go wrong.
(I think Sun Ra covered the whole space thing already.)
As did Hawkwind...
B^4 is reminding me of the 1984 live-at-Stonehenge performance of "Night of The Hawks". It is probably on the Youtube somewhere but I am content listening to the memorised copy.
I, I just took a ride,
On the Riddled Deam Machine,
And I'm still feeling mean.
I should have tagged that last comment "Kiwiwind".
Serious question: Why does your web log want to download the Thunderous bird songs to my devil-box? It opened several windows to the "library" all by itself.
Clever & all, but ...
Neat! Must be some setting you've got going in Chrome because those are generic embed tags.
Nope - Chrome on Linux stops 'em, but it notifies that 'this website is attempting to download 2 files'.
I don't know what the difference between embed and download is, but you're scaring chrome into a bit of a panic....
Well, if we think of the birdsong files as pictures, they ARE downloading because they're part of the page, but they shouldn't be downloading to anything other than whatever cache Chrome uses. I suppose I could have put them together as some kind of YouTube video but that seems like a lotta work.
They are auto-opening the pictures liberry. The cache has been acting up lately, I'll have to look at it again if more reputable sites attempt this sort of thing. Do not force me to view your page source!
And there's nothing but blank empty space on your log where they're intended to should be. Chrome does give me the option to "allow/deny," & I deny everything as a matter of course.
Hawkwind. Gee-ziz. I am not allowed to forget anything any more.
