Sex!

Cal Thomas:
Now, back to sex. Culture promotes all sorts of pre- and extramarital activity as exciting, even commonplace. So how is a high-profile public official to know what is tolerable and what is an offense that can lead to resignation, firing, or impeachment? Divorce is another matter, as most spouses don't tolerate adultery well.

Wouldn't it be helpful to have a guidebook? Are there separate guidelines for military and civilian personnel? Should it be tied to one's security clearance? If the secretary of agriculture, say, is engaged in an adulterous relationship, would that be a lesser offense than adultery by the CIA director, or the secretary of defense? Should one stay in office and the others resign?

I have had drag and drop requests. Is it moosebats you were after?

Frankly, I'm frightened. These folks seem to be becoming increasingly stupid by the day. Sure, it benefits them is odd ways, but at some point they're just going to have to roll around drooling in their own filth...

Judgement. Secrets. Discretion. Security clearances. CIA. Trust.

Guidebooks? Guidebooks?! We need a Miss Cosmic Top Secret Manners?! Is that it?!

I think some chart of entertainment value vs. social embarrassment might be required. What's Sally Quinn's judgment?

Is there any employer that doesn't?

Aren't you a journalist, loosely speaking? Maybe check the guidebook under "how to research." I'm nowt but a tiny kitten whose eyes have just opened and yet I've heard of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

So what, turkey-neck there wants Petraeus to get off the hook because he MAY HAVE BEEN UNAWARE that there is a problem with what he was doing?

I thought we liberals were the ones who were all about moral relativity.

He's only been a man for 40+ years. Perhaps he's just a late bloomer.

I think OOPS is the word everyone's looking for.

Why yes, it is, and those guidelines are familiar to anyone who's held a security clearance.

Cannot find the drag-&-drop.

Adultery is a no-no under the UCMJ, which is apparently why ol' Dave waited until he'd retired before taking up w/ P.B. No fool he.

Cal Thomas actually looks better w/ a moose-tache, which is probably why no d&d is supplied.

Sorry, still stunned by the use of 'nowt' in a sentence. Some years hence, whenst I finally maneuver myself around into a place where I can use 'nowt' it will be ALL YOUR FAULT.

And, can I have a farking avatar please?

I would prefer to just drag-n-drop Cal.

Ideally off a tall building.

I need to make him greenish and add bolts to his neck.

Still wouldn't be sexy. And you know I just visit your blog for the sexiness.

Works for me, as long as the General stands up in front of a microphone and explains how it was dark and he stepped on a goddam dead Afghan child and was hopping around yelling "FUCK" and at some point he fell and his penis accidentally went in his biographer. Happens all the time.

Ooooppssss....

Unfortunately there are not enough moosebats to completely cover his hideousness.

Although I bet my web browser would not cope well with an infinite supply of moosebats.
