A Touch of Class
There are some aspects of this that are RONG but I have to set it aside for the moment and do things like sleep.
I guess this might as well show up again since I listen to it pretty regularly:
UPDATE:
Light position, file-size and legibility update and isn't the little curlicue in the R ADORABLE?
It may be that the solution to the shadow problem is simply to pretend the letters glow a bit.

The full stop isn't needed. Exclamation point or nothing.
Shouldn't there be a tag for "Annoying the Typeface Aesthetes"?
I was going to do some more deco-like thing as I was thinking of movie studio title designs...but Papyrus goes with everything!
Gotta get the tones right and figure out how to make a shadow fall on the globe: I faked the circling text (I dunno how to actually bend 3D objects at this point) by having an image of it scrolling left-to-right projected on a transparent sphere enclosing the globe. That was a clever dodge, I think, but Quartz Composer doesn't seem to recognize the resulting text as a shadow-casting object. Thus far faking some kind of blur on another transparent sphere hasn't panned out.
I thought a lot about that period, and then imagined the citizens of Earth being oppressed by the simplest punctuation mark possible and went with it.
Way too classy for the Empire, don't you think?
That would be amazeballs if it weren't for the papyrus.
And the earth weren't shaped like an egg.
Well, nm. That was a trick of my dumb phone. Carry on.
(Wipes away tear) That's....BEAUTIFUL.
OMG forgot the period in the newer one.
I LIKED the Papyrus though. Perhaps that one is aggravating enough for the Empire.
You can name your font you know. Or export a .dae out of Sketchup and email it to me. It's nothing to plug in some more 3D text and I've got a decent handle on getting the frames in and out of the GIMP (which is four frames a second from Quartz Composer, cutting the colours down to 64, and optimizing for GIF).
Unfortunately Cocksure is line art and doesn't render nicely.

Speak ingrish!

Consider how much it pains Unca Smut, I can't imagine anything better than Papyrus.
Maybe Comic Sans.
Speak ingrish!
That is English dialect, specifically "I'll forget this so must write it down."
Papyrus doesn't look so good glowy though because of all the faux aging. Looks better as solid and threatening black.
Hmm, maybe I've solved that. Might look a little more Pirates-of-the-Caribbean though.
But cartoonishly fast and irritating and even smaller file size.
Trajan would be annoying, and also work well.
Never trust Twomblys.
It all somehow reminds me of the stylized RKO Radio tower on the stage in the Floor Show scene in the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
It's beyond me
Help me mommy....

Yes.
ooo, I've scored the Jennifer-hate!
Not me though!
Dear lord...
Uncial would be classier.
Font issues aside (please!) I like how the Mayan world is central to your point.

OK, it's not just me.
The third gif's 700k, not so bad to just snag yourself.
FYWP seems to choke at embedding a remotely hosted animated gif. I think they do it if I pay the upgrade...
Maybe I should start a Blogger blog.
YES!!!!
WP may want those spaces in the filename to be %20.
Heck, go for %30. It's Christmas.
