Pink Floyd's cash register sound...

Soundtrack?

Does anyone need the soundtrack to the flying pop tart anymore? I thought it was permanently playing in our heads the minute we saw it.

Of course, I think Nyan Cat refused to let the Romney Campaign use it. I suddenly have a better appreciation for it.

It does in my Firefox.

I'd like this power please.

I would gladly surrender a day of my musical choice to the Substance playlist. Just don't disappoint with the afternoon dance-a-thon.

He would just play this all day.

It's got a great beat and you can dance to it!

Thread about prog.

I was hoping for some Krautrock, with an occasional funk break...

I am certain that Barack Obama's tongue is just as long.

There was one Mekons album...

Substance McGravitas said...

Go on, who signed THEM?

zombie rotten mcdonald said...

OK, smart ass, there was one PARTICULAR Mekons album. Specifically, it was techno-punk-funky with dirty lyrics.

Anyways, they've been signed by Virgin, Quarterstick, A&M, and Blast First. Also had stuff released by Bloodshot and Sin Records.

If mittens farted rainbows I feel sure I would not dislike him so much.

I vote for Amon Duul. 'Wolf City' or 'Dance of the Lemmings'.

Now I am nostalgic for the time when I spent four or five hours in someone's living-room engrossed in the beautifully intricate polyphonic music playing from speakers behind my armchair, before I finally got up and discovered that it was the air pump bubbling through a fish tank.

Do NOT forget the II.

Smut Clyde said...

Ha! If I can forget two umlauts I can forget a II.

Substance McGravitas said...

The II is more important than the umlauts: I is a different band.

I have a copy of Paradieswärts Düül from A.D. #I, and a couple of albums from the UK incarnation of A.D. who alternated between II and not-II.
