I Figure This Won't Last...

Some algorithm'll spot the samples.

The idea was sort of musical trolling. Initially I just wanted to loop those opening Led Zep bits and never start the song. UNFULFILLED EARWORM. As it turns out Magic Bus is near the same BPM and it makes my ears perk up like a busy little terrier in about the same way. Same with Fopp. So I figured I might try to make something out of beginnings only.

The result is that I pretty much trolled myself and needed something that sounded final. Thus the 99 Problems bit.

Beginnings:

The first minute of Cherub Rock gives me a boner.

TMI?

near the same BPM

You could probably patch in some instruments from a Fela intro too.

Nice Peter Max vibe to the visuals.

...in a barf-inducing way.

At least he didn't do it with goatse.

Why waste a good goatse on something that might get a takedown?

Good call on Peter Max AND barf, although I confess I was thinking of a Cheech and Chong routine where reference was made - I think - to an orange and purple shirt.

Me too.

The first minute of Cherub Rock kind of pisses me off.

If a terrier is busy, wouldn't its ears be squashed against its head for easier tunneling?

The first 20 seconds of "Memphis, Egypt" make me GLAD TO BE ALIVE.
