Because it's never happened. No one's ever been turned away on the basis of personal or loud public politics. (Rule-proving exception: Mel Gibson, of course. Poor sucker can't get a break.) If a Hollywoodian thinks they can steal a nickel from you or your concept, they don't care about your politics or anything else.
Note to reactionary artistes: Hiring decisions are often made on the basis of the hirer being able to tolerate your presence during long periods of inactivity/boredom & moments of intensive work. Not being a paranoid jerkwad nobody can stand may help you get work. Should be easy for you to pretend to be a humanoid, talented actor boy.
