Six-year old: [Unintelligible] is a kind of beer.
Me: What?
SYO: [Unintelligible] is a kind of beer.
Me: Huh?
SYO: LAAAAAZZZHHHAY is a kind of beer!
Me: Oh. You mean "lager".

In a timely transcription error, the People's Tribunal sentenced me to death by guillemot. They were then forced to commute the sentence indefinitely, owing to a lack of sufficiently lethal sea-birds.
Saved by poor handwriting!
