Those are great. How far from where you live is the walk?~
As the crow flies to where I took the picture, over three miles, but it's a little more complicated than that. If you do a Google Map search for Vancouver it winds up in my neighbourhood: I can walk up Cambie Street to the footpath around the harbour and to the place where I took the picture, boat at Third Beach and rock stacks nearer Second Beach. The whole walk is wonderful.Map and background here. It is marvellous and miraculous that the thing exists, given the value of the land it occupies. Hooray for a city of hippies.
The Seawall is divided in to two clearly marked sections - one for walkers and joggers (closest to the water), and one for cyclists and inline skaters (inside path). So. Sensible.Hooray for a city of hippies.Washington D.C. is just like that. (As long as you consider "corrupt, cynical warmonger" and "hippie" to be synonyms.)~
