Burned

It turns out the FX Foundry plug-ins for The GIMP have a cheapo fire generator, which is fun but makes for overlarge files.

Make an image two-tone, get rid of one colour, apply fire to the other, add the background in with an included plugin.

Also: you get to choose whatever gradient you like and the angle of your crappy fire. So it's probably also a blood and ichor pony rainbow generator. Gotta get back on zombie Pony Paul Ryan.

Also too: an online encrappinator for text.

Possibly a better fire script here. Who knows, he might have written what I used, in which case thanks guy.

  2. It doesn't really look like fire - it looks like he's evaporating. Like finally, one day, the holy ghost was hanging out with allah and vishnu and said "jeez, that willard romney some kinda prick, huh?" and allah said "no shit, sherlock, he's a fuckin' piece o'work if there ever was one" and vishnu said "hey, maybe we could write a script that would cause him to disincorporate a little bit every time he told a lie" and the holy ghost, who was a righteous hacker in his own right, said "damn, dude, that's a good idea. I'll get some pizza and dr. pepper and let's do it at your place tonight".

And lets face it, that would be cool...

  3. I dunno about making Mitt one with the universe: it's already cold and uncaring as it is.

This is thing#2 I've done with the flame and I only adjusted one thing, so I haven't experimented with what can be "flamier". The second plugin linked looks like it has more options.
