The Lovely Daughter is off to camp. A whole week without relatives of any sort pushing her around. She's had a rough go of some things but I think a corner is being turned.

    IT IS TERRIBLE.

    I saw a picture in iPhoto the other day of young zombie in the youngest days with a big gap-toothed grin.

    Now he's a sullen teenager and never grins at all, unless I injure myself.

    I want to go to camp to learn how to live outdoors.

    But the thing I already know is crapping outdoors is...unpleasant...
