The Catholic Church is not entitled to use the law to impose it's beliefs on even it's own subjects any more than evangelicals have a right to take their rattle snakes into schools and hospitals or beat their two year-old to death for not saying "amen" at the breakfast table.

ReplyDeleteIf the SPCA can take dogs into the pediatric & geriatric wards for petting therapy or whatever it's called, I see nothing wrong with taking in snakes for those with less warm-blooded affections.
