  1. You may be free to do your own thing, but I don't recommend it. You'll only look back with shame and ennui. Instead, consider someone you admire, someone historical, and do THEIR thing.

  5. I don't trust Canadians. Never have. Not from the first time I heard one say a-boot; though I must say I was impressed by my Canadian Chemistry teacher at OSU who had synthesized an element. The kids weren't impressed with him--- they just bitched about how hard it was to understand him, how he didn't entertain them blowing things up, and how he taught chemistry instead of kissing their young, solipsistic asses and telling them how special they were.

    No. I'm not bitter. Why do you ask?
