His version of "Give Peace A Chance" is wonderful. And by wonderful, I mean an abomination that deserves nuking from orbit.
That needs a link. I was looking for the Mitch Miller version of this when posting, which is pretty stirring.
I remember when S McG was a nice young man who posted lovely cactus photos.~
Those are so sweet. But...if I saw a girl covered in fur, I'd steer clear, even if she's only 5 foot 2--zomg, SASQUAT!
His version of "Give Peace A Chance" is wonderful.A little piece of me died. w/v says that song belongs in the "urnal."
...didn't watch the video, but the still made me think of this
A little piece of me died. Huh. Somehow my Golden Throats discs never got ripped to my iTunes library. Have to fix that.
I feel like there should be a sesame street song called "Give Peas a Chance"
I'm old enough to remember Mitch Miller back when he was on the TeeVee. Compared to Lawrence Welk, he wasn't horrible.
I dunno, I find a lotta Lawrence Welk pretty watchable...
