    Also you have to enlarge the 'night' image slightly and rotate it by 1.2 deg. to superimpose it on the 'day' image in an animated GIF that flicks back and forth 5 times a second, but the result is worth it.

    Mind you I had this idea for a progressive wipe from one to the other using a gradient to alpha...
