The biggest opposition party is aiming to collect 10 million signatures on a petition for Mr Berlusconi to resign. The Catholic Church is turning against him, with the Pope unmistakably referring to Mr Berlusconi when he called on Friday for public officials to ''rediscover their spiritual and moral roots''.Shake that stinky finger.
Pope's finger too stinky?
ReplyDeleteIt has shocked and titillated newspaper readers the world over, but it would seem that the latest scandal over Silvio Berlusconi's riotous private life has done nothing to undermine his supporters' faith in him.
A poll published today by Corriere della Sera found backing for his Freedom People movement was higher than a month earlier, and less than half of Italians believed he should resign.
Note that our finger is pure & green.
I must say I prefer The Daily Mail's illustrations.
