    Hmm. Seems it might have been more believable in aggregate if he had instead chosen to claim to be a MALE vet. You know, kind of limiting the number of falsehoods in one place at one time?

    But maybe it wasn't efficiency he was seeking, but some kind of high-level psychodrama adventure, a sort of performance art for an audience of one...
