There are some great hangover-music tracks on the three Neu! albums that pull one's mind into the loop and distract one from the pain of a swollen brain.
I need to track down Rother's more recent releases.
Wrong case. Should be "полно угрей". And apparently "Моё судно" is an alternative to "корабль"; it appears that Russian has more than one word for 'hovercraft', which speaks of that vehicle's central importance in their culture.
I was tempted to say "Just say gnu".
ReplyDeleteBut, ...released in 1972 by Brain Records.
So I gave them zrm-pass.

I was waiting for the ghost to pop up...
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm very familiar with Kraftwerk, but somehow, completely missed Neu!, so Neu! is neu to me.
ReplyDeleteI can take or leave ambient music, but like the ones that cause focus and brain drain at the same time.
"Im Glück" is probably the best one after some brain-bottling trauma.

ReplyDeleteIndeed.
ReplyDeleteCR/LF...

ReplyDeleteYou are disturbing me. I am picking mushrooms.
ReplyDeleteВы меня тревожить. Я грибы.
ReplyDeleteYou me to disturb. I am the fungi.
ReplyDeleteGoogle Translate: Useful tool, or Dadaist art form?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it can be rated in Fuckbums.
ReplyDeleteВы меня тревожите.
ReplyDeleteFixed. Though we're all good friends here so you can probably go all familiar and say 'ты'.
Я грибы. Я не рыбы.
Okay, that's funny. Google translate will do "thee" and "thou" for you.
ReplyDeleteЯ люблю ты
ReplyDeleteSounds sexier in Russian than in any other language. It's something about the way the tongue wraps around the 'ю' vowels.
Hallogallo yourself. Briliant stuff, of course.
ReplyDeleteTried to buy some fuckbum during a recent visit to Kyiv. Sadly, following the break-up of the good old USSR, all they had was fickbim.
Мой корабль на воздушной подушке полной угри
ReplyDeleteNot "acne" , "eels"! Can we not get a free translator service that is reliable?
ReplyDeleteهاورکرافت من پر مارماهى است
ReplyDelete"Hovercraft" is pretty funny in Farsi. Seen they got Haitian Creole now? With audio?
ReplyDeleteGusto kung mosakay sa kabaw.

Yup Apple's translator widget gives:
ReplyDeleteМой ховеркрафт полн угрей
which translates hovercraft back fine, but still gives you blackheads. I think there is a Noxema product for that.
autoplay is a tool of the devil, or at least Adobe.
ReplyDeleteThe Natalie Portman librarian soft core is total win though. You can keep the diaper.
