Credulity

My daughter told someone today that Labour Day is a celebration of the Twelve Labours of Hercules.

Said someone had to check with me to see if it was true.

    It's quiet today.

    TOO quiet.

    I suspect it may be that labor day is a celebration of Doc Marita's labor.

    Either that or they don't have internet access at the new place...

    The McCarthy bit, however, was a justification of the shorter form.
