It worries me when I see bees so seldom. I ...Yesss. It worries me when I see bees so seldom. I got the heirloom Bee Balm seeds, and they seem to adore all the herbs in flower, as well. I kinda want to hunt down some clover to plant around the container garden, too.

It makes me sad that there is so little insect life around here. The only thing I've seen that's close to a butterfly is the single cabbage moth that takes the same flight through my garden every day.Every once in a while we've spotted an actual butterfly with color on it, and it's invariably dead.

When I was a kid, we could spend the whole day finding bugs and identifying them with our little golden notebook of insects. Kids around here just have a patch of grass with a mote of splinters (bark dust) around it and a couple of flies and things I call fly-bees.

Every generation is born to a deader planet and they don't know what they're missing.wileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10234314999465951053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2438801388377581634.post-78994493146813361802011-12-04T20:14:01.316-08:002011-12-04T20:14:01.316-08:00The Bees of November around here come in boxes on...The Bees of November around here come in boxes on 18 wheelers.El Manquécitonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2438801388377581634.post-65217132900147058372011-12-04T19:03:54.058-08:002011-12-04T19:03:54.058-08:00I always thought that bees came in a can.I always thought that bees came in a can.Big Bad Bald Bastardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01983025559556548658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2438801388377581634.post-5673378477015994902011-12-04T15:44:14.192-08:002011-12-04T15:44:14.192-08:00Mason bees?!!?
